    MIYOTA is an analog quartz movement, which has many advantages. These include long battery life, precision, reliability,
    good thermal behavior as temperature does not affect the rate of oscillation of quartz.

    MIYOTA has been providing watch movements for 40 years

    MIYOTA has been providing watch movements for leading brands worldwide for nearly 40 years. Every single part used in MIYOTA’s movements is made in Japan. In addition, the parts we use are mostly metal, which assure high precision and durability.

    MIYOTA’s battery lasts 4-10 years

    MIYOTA’s battery lasts 4-10 years depends on the model. To ensure the proper function of the watch as long as possible.
    We recommend to have the watch inspected by a professional every two years. Clean your watch with a clean, dry and soft microfibre cloth only.

    MATERIAL
    The Sif Jakobs Watches are made of 316L stainless steel cases and bracelets, meaning they are hypoallergenic.


    SAPPHIRE GLASS
    Sif Jakobs Watches have sapphire glass which is crystal and not actually a type of glass. It's a pure aluminum oxide that has been through a process of crystal lisation. Watch sapphire is the most expensive type of watch glass as it is incredibly hard and therefore durable. Sapphire is considered the best material to protect the watch dial against shock.

     

    MOVEMENT
    We use MIYOTA Japanese movements in all our Sif Jakobs Watches. The movement is widely accepted as the most accurate Japanese movement. It is an analogue quartz movement, which has many advantages. These include long battery life, precision, reliability, good thermal behaviour as the temperature does not affect the rate of oscillation of quartz. MIYOTA has been providing watch movements for leading brands worldwide for nearly 40 years. Every single part used in MIYOTA’s movements is made in Japan. In addition, the parts we use are mostly metal, which assure high precision and durability. MIYOTA’s battery lasts 4-10 years depending on the model.


    GOLD PLATING
    The gold plating on the Sif Jakobs Watches is IP/Ion plating (0.5MIC TIN + 0.1 MIC AU (1N14)). IP plating on stainless steel produces a more scratch-resistant (harder) surface. The end result is also relatively lightweight, so easy to wear and the coating means watches are five times stronger than standard stainless steel ones.

     

    WATER RESISTANCE
    Our Sif Jakobs Watches are either 30 or 50 m. A water-resistance level of 30 meters means the watch can withstand splashes of water.A level of 50 meters means that it can be worn for swimming in shallow depths. CUBIC ZIRCONIA The stones in our Sif Jakobs Watches are high-quality Cubic Zirconia.

     

    SPARE PARTS & BATTERY REPLACEMENT
    Replacement of the battery and joints to extend the length of the watch is recommended to be made by a certified dealer. The Gisella watches are normal length, but you can order extension links if you want a longer bracelet.

    RETURNS & COMPLAINTS POLICY
    All of Sif Jakobs Watches are covered by the Purchase Act with a 24 month warranty. The warranty means that you as a customer can complain about defects in the goods that have occurred within 24 months after purchase. This means that you either get it repaired or replaced, refunded or reduced in price, depending on the specific situation.

    PRODUCT CARE
    Clean your Sif Jakobs Watch with a clean, dry and soft microfibre cloth only. Avoid the following:

    - Contact with perfume, cosmetics, cream, sun lotion, or any other beauty products

    - Contact with chemicals (cleaning agents /soap)

    - Wearing our watch during sports, or while sleeping

    - Contact with hard / rough materials

    - Prolonged exposure to magnetic surfaces

    Every two years, it is recommended that watches be inspected a certified dealer.
